I listened to some ingrate Watford supporter on Talkshite today explaining the shortcomings of kinky, and my mind went back to when Charlton supporters used to regularly call 606 to complain about Curbishley. The common phrase, when they'd been mid-table for a number of years, was that they needed someone else who 'could take them to the next level'. They unappreciative fuckers got their just desserts.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for clubs being ambitious, but what is wrong with recognising what your clubs level is. Watford's level is the championship and this year they've been overachieving. So I look forward to their arrogant owners catching a very nasty cold next season.

I'm not comparing Watford to West Ham as football clubs. I'm just making the point that the fans seem happy to see him go because of the shite football and no plan b.

The media and you lot are basically telling them 'beware what you wish for'.

Any West Ham fans passing judgement on another set of fans for wanting better like this would seem to have very short memories. The Watford fans want him out it would seem, they got their wish. Their wish is more relevant that want we think or the media think they should have, just as was the case with us last year.

We proved that we could do better, let's see if Watford can. Wishing relegation on another club seems a trifle odd for fans getting what they want at their club and I remember the rightful abuse we gave out to those that though Sam had somehow been hard done by.

Just can't see any difference here, good luck to them, it's their club, just as this is ours.

Watford are a weird club anyways.
Always love changing their manager even when he brings success.
Staying up was number 1 priority for them, sanchez delivered that and more. One of the favourites to go down end up staying up comfortably. Getting to an Fa cup semi final and it's still not enough. Why take the Watford job when you deliver success and still get shit on. Sanchez didn't splash the cash either unless Newcastle who are down. Weird!

Good grief, some of us have short memories, this is EXACTLY what people were saying about us last season finishing 12th with Sam.

Can't see Watford fans in all out revolt about this. They want better football, more flexibility in the style and a chance to push on, this is West Ham mark 2 from last season.




First and foremost, how the fuck can you compare West Ham and Watford, for fuck sake?

Aside from that, we took our medicine for 3 years in the Premier league before the time came to move on, and also, the relationship was toxic with Allardyce by the end.

I hope this backfires on them as Flores has been one of the successes this season, for me.

Mazzarri isn't really a step up really either. I suppose it must be down to the relationship with the Italian owner.

I dont think it's quite the same as us with Sam. Watford aren't expected to be in this league. They dont have the fan base, and never had the money to go with it. So in that context sacking a mid table manager is quite suprising. Maybe after 2 or 3 seasons of mid table you might say, ok, where good now, lets start playing attractive football etc..

We were going into our 3rd season in the prem and spending pretty big money for players like Caroll and Valencia. It didnt make sense for us to be acting like we were just happy to be here etc..

We had 3 seasons of mostly negative, percentage football under Sam. Which was fine for what we needed then but it just couldnt go on. We were established in this league. Are watford established as a premier league club? Not sure about that one.
